Outfit of the day!

Hey girls!

I know I was gone for a while because I had exams, work, I moved to a new house bla bla bla! The thruth is that it doesn't matter why I was absent because now I am back! Even if it almost June in UK the weather is still chilly so I decided that today's post will be about an outfit which I taught is perfect for this time.

•      Jacket is from Guess by Marciano - around 350£ I know it is expensive but I think it is a good investment because I bought it 3 years ago and it still looks very good    
•      The scarf is from Massimo Dutti - around 20£      
•      The bag is from Dune London - 35£ from TK MAXX I bought it 2 days ago and I am in love with it. The actual price was 70£ but it was on sale lucky me :D.  
•      The jeans are from H&M - 10 £ also on sale
•      The boots are from Deichmann - 20£. I love the red zipper 'cuz I can wore them with casual or elegant outfit
•       The T-shirt is from Guess by Marciano- around 85£. I am a fan of black and white cloths so yeah I know it was too expensive but I like it and the quality of the product is really good.
•      The sweater is from H&M- around 10£. It is difficult to noticed it in the pictures but believe me I was wearing it:)).

•      The sunglasses are from Ray Ban and trust me I have no idea how much they cost 'cuz I bored them from a friend btw thanks Ema!

Products I regret buying

 

   We girls always want to try new things but sometimes we realize that we made the wrong choice by buying some products. This is what happened to me with this cosmetics. I do not say that they are not good but for me they did not do the job right and I will explain you why.

 

I run out of my eyeliner which was from Flormar ( this brand is not in UK) so I went to Boots to buy a new one. I've heard good things about Collection so I decided to buy the waterproof Fast Stroke eyeliner in black version. I liked the brush because it is not so thin, the finish is not very shiny but matte either and the price was a bargain something around 3 pounds.

The problem is that it was really hard to apply it because the brush was full of ink and made my lashes to stuck and it was horrible. Anyway this was not the only problem! On my way to university the wind was very powerful that made my eyes to tear. Surprise...my eyeliner was all over my eyes zone...so you said it is waterproof? Well I do not think so man!

 

I have to admit that I am a huge fan of KIKO but this product was a disappoinment for me! It curled my lashes that it is true but it lasted only for 2-3 hours and then it started smudging and under my eyes there were small spots of mascara and made my eyes looked so tired! Conclusion: I am never gonna buy this product again!

 

Next on my black list is the Concealer true match from L'oreal which was not such a good match for my skin. It did not mixed so well with the foundation that i have from the same range and it looked very unnatural on my skin. Also it did not cover my spots and after 2-3hours it settled in the fine lines of the skin which is bleaaahh! I am sorry for the fans of this product but I really do not like it!

The last product on my list is this powder from Maybelline Stay matte. In the picture I applied it on the concealer. It is not too bad but I like to use foundation with a medium to high coverage and this powder is too powdery on my skin. I prefer a light one instead so this is why it is on my black list! It is good if you use it with a light foundation! The one that I have is in shade 005 silky beige and it is about 5 pounds!

Well these are the products that I regret spending my money on! Which ones are yours?

Beauty Haul January!

 

I love the title of these kind of post because it means that I bought new beauty stuff and the feeling of sharing with you is amazing! I hope that you will enjoy it and maybe you will find it useful!

First of all I bought this amazing set from French Conection which smells incredible...I can not find the perfect words to describe it so please go in any Boots store that is close to you and try it! I promise that you will love it! This set contains a shower gel, body cream, body scrub and a loofah which is not in the picture because I already used it but I can assure you that it is very nice! It is a butter color and has a black cord where is written the name of the brand! Oh my good I am so in love with this set and I know that there is also a perfume which smells exactly like these products but I can not figure what which one maybe you will help me! Also the packaging is so elegant with different shades of nude and the cover has some gold lines so it could also be a perfect present for someone you love!

 

As I already told you in an old post I love the products from Aussie so because the old treatment that I had is empty now, I bought the new edition from the same brand, the winter remedy! This one also smells incredibly well and it is the best for my hair! So I am sorry that I might become boring about hair conditioner or treatment but I just think I found the perfect one and I do not want to try anything else! Regarding to different oil treatments for hair or serums I decide to move from Dove ( I talked about it in a previous post) to this amazing one from Moroccanoil because I've heard only good things about it! I already used it for 5-6 times and I can tell that I love it! I bought it from Amazon at the price of 10 pounds and I chose the one for light hair! It smells like the perfume Poeme from Lancome which I like, but the most important think is that even if it is very oily, it leaves my hair shiny, soft and strong without making it look dirty or greasy! Conclusion: I love the products that I use for my hair right now! 

 

As you already know I have in any bag a mini sized hand cream so this is one of them! I like the Neutrogena brand especially in this period because their creams are in general very rich and it really moisturizes my skin and makes it very soft and silky! So I think that this one I can call a must have for this cold time!

When it comes to cleaning my skin , my goal is to buy a Clarisonic skin cleansing system but it is too expensive so for the moment I am using this product from Garnier. I like it because it has that abrasive brush which deeply cleans my skin and also fights against black spots! It has a strong menthol smells and after I use it my face looks very clean but I think that it is better for the persons with oily skin like me rather than dry skin! So yep big like for this product!

 

Well I was looking for something that smells like the French Conection so I found this perfume from Katy Perry, Queen Killer! It is not the same smell... this one has a sweet subtone but I like it so I bought it! Also the bottle is very cute and the color is interesting with this gradient red! It was only 15 pounds at 30 ml and the smell persists for 8 hours I think!

Lip Balm

   Well in this period I really need a good lip balm because of the wind and the cold weather and so on...you know what I mean! Yes ok I need a good lip balm but which one is the best for me? So to find that out I started to buy all the products that I heard or read about on internet :)) great idea right?

   First of all I bought the one from Carmex. Not this one from the picture but the one with cherries which after one use I gave it to a friend because it made my lips tingle and I started to scratch my skin too hard:)). Well I said to give it another try so I bought the other one with strawberries which I think that it dried my lips even more:))! Conclusion: Carmex is not for me! I do not say that it is not good, maybe for some girls it is the best product but I just say pass to it!

   Next one that I bought was the one from Vaseline because I've heard only good things about this brand. My opinion? It is ok...it is very oily and it takes a while until it is absorbed into the skin but it healed my lips. Conclusion: It passed my test and I keep it in a bag because I always forgot to take it with me when I leave the house so in every bag I have mini sized products such as lip balm, hand cream , deodorant and so on!

   You know the feeling that you can not stop until you find the best product? It always happen to me so I ended up buying a new lip butter from Nivea which I love it ...it is just perfect...my soulmate! I am kidding but I am sooo happy that I found it! It smells really good and it is very creamy. I like it not only because it heals my lips so quickly but also because it looks so good and natural that I use it also as a lip gloss! Conclusion: I found the perfect lip butter for me yeey!!

Beauty Haul

 It is December so shopping is a must this month if you know what I mean:))! Every time I walk next to drugstores or Primark I enter to see maybe they have something new that I should buy or a good offer...I know that these are just excuses for shopping but it's Christmas time so no judgements ok?

Yesterday I went to Boots and this is what I bought i hope you will enjoy it cuz I will definitely adore!

 

     I am living in UK for almost three months and this is the first time I bought something from Soap & Glory shame on me! I chose this set because it smells like the perfume Dior Miss Cherie so I can not say it is my favorite scent but I like, it is a nice one. 

     The package is so sweet and girly and pinky and the products were wrapped in sheet gifts so it could also be a good idea for the Christmas presents! I mean I bought another one for my sister in law as a present and I hope she will like it! 

     So now let's move on to...

Well I run out of concealer foundation and also mascara so I had to find something new! About this foundation from L'oreal I've heard so many great things that I have to tried it myself! Till now I can say that has a medium coverage. A good thing about this it that you can put whether one or two layers of it depends how much you want to cover or if you want just to uniform the color and make your skin look healthier! The pump is very useful because you will use the right amount you need and also has SPF 17! I like it matches all skins tones and has 23 shades! It sounds good isn't it? 

The true match concealer is ok ,it does coverage the spots but is nothing compared with kiko full coverage! I have the   color.

The Telescopic mascara is the best! I've never tried something better! It is the extra black one and it resist all day long and you can remove it very easy! Also it makes your lashes much longer and and shape you eyes...It let me speechless! 

 

Because I spent 15 pounds on L'oreal products I received this box as a free gift from them! How cool is that? For the moment I have not tried them but I will come back soon with the reviews! The box contain one lipstick in shade scarlett creme no 461, a white pencil, a nail polish and a mascara called volume million lashes! 

Barry M Christmas Nails!

 

   

     Christmas is almost here so I had to be sure that my nails are going to match with this festive period of the year which by the way it is my favorite one! This year I selected the range from Barry M because I like how it spreads on the nails, how quickly it drys and also the incredible shine it has ! I bought them from Boots and they have a good offer cuz I paid for 2 and I got 3 so they were something around 7 pounds...cheep right? 

     First one is called Moonlight and has different types of sparkling decorations like stars and dots so I thing i will apply it only on one nail.

     Second one is called Blood Orange and is a shiny red with a subtone of orange but it is hard to notice it! During the Christmas period I like to wear the traditional color of red so I think that this is perfect buut..there is a But! I think I will search another color of red the blood red , that red as fire shade!

     Third one is called Ruby Slippers and was a present from my lovely friend Ema! It has small particles of glitter in it so you can whether wear it on one nail or on all of them because I don't think it is going to be to much...I mean I will wear it in both ways because in my opinion this one is the most festive from all of them!

And this is how it looks on my nails! I am really happy that I bought them! Have you tried one of them?

My Face Routine

     I know that you can find anywhere this topic but I believe that this is very useful. It is important to have different reviews of products in order to choose the right one for you! My routine is a basic one and quite simple so I hope that you will enjoy it! Sooo let's start!:d

 

     Well in the morning I wash my face just with cold water in order to be sure that i won't fall asleep:)). If I have any marks of black around the eyes I clean it with the micellar cleansing water from Garnier. My type of skin is something between oily and sensitive. This product is a very good one because it is basically for sensitive skin, it doesn't have any perfume and after I use it I do not feel the need to wash my face because it is light and my skin is so smooth and nice. Love it! It removes all the make up  apart from the waterproof ones. So a big like for this micellar cleaner! 

     After my face is ready I moisturize it with this amazing product from Kiko! I really like this one because it has some small particles of glitter which illuminate my face and makes it radiate and health looking! And also it smells very nice and is a good base for the make up too! So what are you waiting for? Give this cream a chance!

 

     Well...in the evening it gets a little bit complicated. First of all I remove all my make up with the Garnier micellar cleaner! 

     Step two: I use the simple facial wash gel which is for all kind of skin. It is quite good I mean  it cleans everything but I can not say that it is wow... it is ok! After it is gone I am pretty sure that I will try another wash gel!

     Step three: I use the scrub from St Ives which smells of apricot and I am in love with this! The particles inside it are abrasive and I feel you it cleans my pores and leave my face smooth and deep cleaned. I will definitely buy this one again because it is almost gone :(.

     Step three: I moisturize my skin with the cream for the Simple. It is for sensitive skin but I can not say that I like this one. I will say that it is like the wash gel ...just ok but not wow , I had others much better so be prepare for a beauty haul!

 

     Sometimes instead of using the Garnier cleaner or the gel from Simple I replace them with the soap from Dove with shea butter cuz this one is smelling so good oh my good. I like to use the soap from Dove cuz they are very creamy and gentle with the skin so I found it a very good cleaner! 

Sooo I think that's it my facial routine! Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?
