Cohorted Beauty Box July!

    Yeeeeey I have the Cohorted Beauty Box and guess what?!! I've also ordered the one for August!! Yeeeey happy me, lucky me!
    I am so happy you can't imagine! But let me share with you this joy and have a look inside!
    First this beauty box has 4 full size products and it costs 20 pounds + 2.5 pounds delivery!

The first product is this make up palette from Diego dalla palma which contains 6 eye shadows a lipstick and a black eye pencil. I've never tried any of their products and I'm really happy that now I've got the chance to do this!

 

 On top there are the 3 shimmery and glittery eye shadows and my favorite one is the 17 Snow because is very pigmented and it's also a good high litter. I've also tried them and the makeup lasted for hours without smudging or anything which is great! 

  On the bottom there are the 3 matte eye shadows which are Ok! The one in the middle, 9 destiny, has a little shimmer but it's hard to notice. This trio is good for a natural and casual make up!

 The next product is this amazing lipstick! I am in love with it! It's a red shade with an orange subtone which is the perfect match for the nail polish that I've got in this beauty box (continue to read you will find it). So some details about it: It lasts for a long time of period and even after I ate I still had it on my lips, it hydrates my lips very well and the finish is not shiny or glossy but not really matte is in between if you understand what I mean:)). Big thumb for this gorgeousness! 

 

 

  

  The second product is this gradual tan lotion  from St. Tropez. I've been using this for 3 days and now I have a subtly tan, very natural  exactly what I needed before holiday: a splash of color! The texture is not greasy and it absorbs quickly but you have to be careful and clean your palm after using it cuz otherwise you will look like you have jaundice!

 

    

    The third product is a nail polish from Nails Inc. London which I've already told you that it is the perfect match for the lipstick from the palette! It's a matte red shade, I tried it today so I can't tell you if it last but what I can tell you is that I applied 2 layers in order to be opaque and it dried in a couple of minutes!

  

  

 

  

   The last product is this shower gel from Gucci. It smells sweet, floral perfect for the summer but I don't think it belongs to this beauty box. I don't know why, I don't have a logical explanation but this is just my opinion. Anyway I am happy that I received it because I will go on holiday at the end of the week and I really needed a small shower gel and now I have it! 

  So this was the beauty box for this month, I hope you like it and maybe you were lucky to get the box as well so I'm waiting for some opinions and reviews.

About foundation brushes

 

I can say that I am an old fashion person because I tend to keep my old habits and it's really hard to make me try new things buut I'm working on it. For example, my friend Andreea tried to convince me to watch the serial ''The 100'' for almost a month and I was like ''neah I'm watching Grey's Anatomy again, I don't think I'm gonna  like it'' and so on until one day when I decided to give it a try and now I'm obsessed with it. I finished both seasons and I'm waiting for the 3rd one so thanks Andreea :D! Anyway today's post it is not about this it's about how important is to use a good foundation brush.

   Until two months ago or something like this I used to apply my foundation with my fingers which was a really big pain in the ass 'cuz all my cosmetics were dirty and it annoyed me so much that I decided to buy a brush. Because I am an old fashion person I said that I don't need a fancy brush that will cost me a fortune so I bought this pink one from wilko. I was happy because the foundation was only on my face and not on my cosmetics but I noticed that it wasn't blended properly and that it wasn't spread equable.Another things that I didn't like were : it absorbed too much foundation, it was really hard to wash and dry. Imagine how angry I was because I let myself convinced to try something new and it was a failure.

  Anyway I couldn't just get over it without a victory so I bought the one from Real Techniques 'cuz everyone on the internet is madly in love with it:))...and the truth is that so am I now. I never thought that a brush can help so much and can create a perfect look. This brush is absolute fantastic : you don't have to use too much product, it's really easy to wash it and it is dried in 2 minutes. Pretty cool right? Also the package is really cute and the price is acceptable if you buy it from Amazon. It was around 6 pounds and it was delivered in 3-4 working days.

 

After this experience the moral is that I have to be willing to try new things more often and to don't  expect to receive great things from cheap products. The quality of the RT brush is indisputable compared with the one from Wilko . This doesn't mean that now I will buy only expensive products but in some cases you have to! Btw I'm preparing a surprise for you very soon!

How to shave you mustache!

     Lately I have a big problem... my mustache! My natural color of the hair is blond but even so I have hairs that can be noticed if you stare:)) !

    I tried to use the hair remover device but maan it really hurts so no this is not the solution! I moved on to facial wax which was ok but the next day when I woke up my lips were so dehydrated and dried and my skin around the mouth was fulled of peeled. I mean imagine how I looked with my make up on ... You could think that I was suffering from a bad illness but no it was just my mustache!

   Anyway I am happy now because I found the solution!! This small ''tool'' (I don't know how to call it) is perfect for me. It hurts yeah it's true but not like the hair remover device. You can use it whenever you want and due to its size is easy to carry it everywhere you go! I don't have any adverse reaction like irritation which is amazing. If you have the same problem you can give it a try because is very cheap less than a pound and you find it on amazon :

Look Fantastic Beauty Box June

 

Hello guys!! It's so sunny outside and today is my day off from work so I am in a really good mood! As I already told you in my previous post that I want to discover new things so last week I decided to buy my first beauty box! I searched on internet which are the options and I thought that this is one of the best  because the price is good for what they offer! Anyway, I think that the best beauty box is the one from Cohorted but it is really hard to buy one... anywaaay today I'm gonna talk about the beauty box from Look Fantastic which is the second best beauty box in my opinion:D! So it has 6 beauty products, it costs 15 pounds and it is delivered in 2-3 working days! And now let's see the products for this month!

 

I think that it is really important to use a hairspray in the summer which protects you from UV. I didn't have one for this summer so I was so happy when I saw it in the box. I know that this brand has good products so I have big hopes for it! It has 50 ml and the normal price is around 15 pounds-250 ml.

 

The second product is this mask from Ren , a brand unknown for me. After reading the ingredients I noticed that it doesn't have parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrance or colors which is incredible good. The texture is sticky and the smell could have been more pleasant but it doesn't matter as long as the product is worth. The full size has 50 ml and the price around 30 pounds. 

Ok let's move on to this serum from Caudalie which I bet that it is a good one. The texture is cloudy and the smell a little bit citric. It has only 10 ml:( which is really sad so I will appreciate every drop from it! The full size has 30ml and the price around 30 pounds.

 

Neeeext is this moisturizing cream from Nuxe which is for normal to combination skin. This is also an unknown brand for me which is good because I really want to discover new products! I have to tell you that the smell is incredible good ...it smells like the perfume Poem from Lancome! The full size has 40 ml and the price is around 14 pounds this sounds good right?

 

Ok I have no idea about this product and I don't think I will use it because it's for fine lines and wrinkles which is not the case for the moment! The full size has 30ml and the price around 60 pounds!

 

Finally last product is this shower gel from Balance me! I like it because is 99% natural, the texture is transparent  it smells very fresh and also has 100ml so yeah big thumb for it! The full size product has 300 ml and the price around 30 pounds!

Well this was the beauty box for June. I am really happy that I bought it because I feel that it worth the money considering the fact that the products are from high brands! I hope that next month I will have the chance to buy the box from Cohorted and if not maybe I will buy this one again!

New Night Care

 

 

    I decided to stop buying the same product all over again and try new things.Anyway I won't give up to my favorite foundation from Bourjois but this is another story! I heard only good things about these two products that I bought from Body Shop so let's see if they can do miracles to my face!

  The first one that I use after I wash my face is the overnight serum oil with vitamin E which is not very oily and smells like linden. It absorbs really quick and the skin feels smooth but I only used it twice so I can't do a proper review right now! I really like the pipette 'cuz you can use the exact amount you need, I use 4-5 drops for an use! It has 29 ml and the price is 13 pounds!

 In the  next step I apply this mask which looks more like a gel actually. The smell is not very strong which is good because I don't like to combine the perfume of too many products on my skin. I bought this product because they say that this it is bouncy! Firstly I was wait what? And then I found out!

    Eeee? Interesting right? If you try to touch the gel the finger prints will remain there which is really funny! You need only a small amount of product for one use and it absorbs in 5-10 minutes. It has 90 ml which is quite too much and the price is 20 pounds but I think that lasts for 4-5 months so yeah it's ok!

  So this is my start of trying  new things and maybe you will start doing the same! See ya soon!
